Smith was a fine hire for you guys. As I already said, he did a good job in year 1.

I take back what I said. Y'all won the East last year so obviously you hired someone who fit in very well.

You don't know that, but it's not really relevant to anything other than your false Internet bravado...so have at it.

So if our defense doesn't drop off after Muschamp is gone that pretty much shows he was massively overrated right, I mean he didn't improve our defense really all that much and for some reason people took that as proof of how awesome he was a a coach.

Based on Florida's current talent alone: Your secondary should remain elite. The DL and Linebackers should still be damn good although they may not be quite as good as last year.

I think people severely underestimate the level of defensive talent Muschamp had to work with and how much the "Jimmies and Joes" matter.

We just hired Odom. Steckel was our DC last year.

Odom was still at Memphis and showed continual improvement.

So... Mizzou posters with abnormally small peckers will start frothing at the mouth at the idea that Robb Smith was a better hire then Odom.

As usual Arkansas fans fail to grasp what is actually being said.

The chavis hire is definitely attracting the defensive recruits to you guys.

247 has you ranked #28 right now. Not bad. Chavis doesn't meed top tier recruits to get it done. He does more with less.

Do you know anything about A&M history or?

Considering that most A&M fans act like the history of Aggie football starts in September of 2012, probably so.

U scared bro. Chavis will be sitting on his futon eating cool ranch Doritos while A&M's staff tries to throw together a class before signing day.

Malzahn, Bryles, Sumlin, Petrino, etc will never have elite defenses year in and out, no matter the DC, their finger prints on their team sets the DC up for failure.
What about 2014 Clemson when the offense was run by Chad Morris?

I remember when we almost hired Odom and then chose Robb Smith instead.

What new (First year at that position at that particular sdchool), SEC coordinators have won a NC as a coordinator?

Will Muschamp - LSU DC '03

John Chavis - Tennessee DC '98

Randy Shannon - Miami DC '01

Mike Debord - Michigan OC '97

Have I missed any?
