Will Auburn benefit from a high preseason ranking again in 2015?

Ranked by the coaches #5 last season. Went 8-5 while cratering in the back 2/3 of the season. Coaches put Auburn #23 in the final poll of the season.
Aubie starts out at #7 this year. Will they catch breaks again by coaches not wanting to admit they over-rated Auburn and they'll keep Auburn in the Top 25 all year?
It does make a difference where you start as silly as that is.

Auburn disappoints when it starts out ranked high and surprises when it starts out low. Looks like a bad year for Auburn on the horizon.

Auburn will benefit from being bad asses on the football field, dragging, bludgeoning, crushing, scoring, and dominating our opponents. Then when AU hoists the SEC trophy and the NC trophy you will be saying. frick Bert is really fricking fat.

I do prefer if your going to go 8-5 - lose them in the end. At least we went like 10 weeks in the top 5 last year. There were other teams that finished with better records, but because they lost early - they were under the radar all year.

We do not open with a fat arse team this year. After we skull fricked Ark last year, our expectations were skewed considering we had Ellis Johnson as a DC. Things are different this year.

We played so much better at the end of the season, I wished we could have gotten a rematch with aubie.
