Aggie campus actually makes a pretty good statement. It is grandiose in nature, imposing, fitting of an "empire" sized state, I guess.
I enjoy good brutalist buildings, and there are some good ones on the A&M campus.

LSU Indian mounds
Spent many a fall afternoon in undergrad hanging around the mounds studying or just laying back looking off into the great oaks.

Very nice.
Uptown/University/Audubon area is picturesque and happening at the same time. Spent many a weekend there.

A&M has a few decent looking buildings. Most of the older ones seem to have burned down.
Agreed. Always wonder if the direction of the architecture at A&M would have been different had the original Old Main not burned down:

Undergrad at University of Texas at El Paso. Campus is unique for it's Bhutanese architecture. Back when UTEP, then known as Texas School of Mines, was founded in 1914, the wife of the first school president, saw a picture of Bhutan buildings in a National Geographic magazine and thought the mountainous setting resembled the area around El Paso, so she suggested they build the first buildings on campus in this style.

I transferred from A&M to this school:
This is the student union, which was originally the Tivoi Beer Brewery. In 2012, the university revived the brewery as part of its Hospitality program. As far as I know, it's the only university with a functioning brewery.

As much as I hate Texas, I wouldn't mind going for a tour of the campus. Some of that looks pretty cool.

I like Austin and I've been on the Texas campus several times. I like it in general, but it feels very constrained and overbuilt in parts. That's saying something, because the Arkansas campus is very compact and tightly built compared to most SEC campuses.
