Texas A&M distance from schools:
Big 12 North:
Kansas St= 661 miles
Kansas= 686 miles
Missouri= 761 miles
Nebraska= 808 miles
Iowa St= 949 miles
Colorado= 969 miles
SEC East:
Florida= 954 miles
South Carolina= 1,037 miles
Georgia= 896 miles
Tennessee= 940 miles
Vanderbilt= 785 miles
Kentucky= 978 miles
Average distance from Big 12 North schools= 805 miles
Average distance from SEC East schools= 936 miles
Texas A&M's average distance to all Big 12 schools= 568 miles
Texas A&M's average distance to all SEC schools= 754 miles
A&M is somewhat of an isolated school in the SEC and they were a much better fit, geography and culture wise, in the Big 12.

Where did this come from, and why is it relevant?
I (and many Ags) fly to away flames.
The only distance that matters to me is the span between my Park 'N Fly parking spot at the airport and the terminal.
