Kind of hard to say...aTm, Auburn and MSU all ask there QB's to do more. Same for OM, but their QB play is going to be on the LSU level this year.

Arkansas has a QB that went for 20/5 last year...I'm on record saying he could throw close to 30 TD's under Enos.

Bama just doesn't have a starter and that says they don't even have a game manager IMO.

Going into 2015:

Dak
B.Allen
K.Allen/J.Johnson (could flip either)
Bama QB
LSU QB
OM QB

Brandon Allen is AJ lite, and that's not a compliment. Kyle has more talent in his big toe than Brandon. In his first start he marched into Jordan Hare and stole a game. Yall must be delusional, have bad memories, or both.

JJ is talented, I get it. But he's played half of one game, so we don't know how consistent he is.

Dak is a great reader of the defense, and knows how to run the ball effectively. But he can't throw very well.

Whichever one is most effective at winning, moving the sticks and not making mistakes. Checking the offense into the right play.

I couldn't care less about stats or who has the most physical tools.

The preseason favorite is the backup quarterback Jake Coker, he saw some action last year throwing 4 touchdowns and no INT. Coker though has some competition with 4 other quarterbacks who are all top rated recruits. Alec Morris (Junior), Cooper Bateman (Sophomore), David Cornwell (Redshirt Freshmen) and lastly highly talked about true freshman Blake Barnett. Reports out of spring camp is Barnett is giving Coker all he can handle. Letter grade: B+

I haven't heard these reports. Reports have been that it is more of a Coker and Cornwell battle. Seriously doubt the true freshman Barnett contends for a starting job. He probably redshirts unless there is an early season ending injury to one of the other QBs.

What Prescott did in his first year as a starter was pretty impressive:

Passing Yards - 3,449, 22 all time SEC yards thrown in a season.

Passing TD's - 27

Total Offense - 4,435, 3rd all time in SEC History

Total TD's - 42, Tied for 6th all time in SEC History

I think he surpasses all those numbers this year.

Is there a more underrated QB in the conference than Kyle Allen?

I think I would grade them based on accuracy, arm strength, mobility, leadership, their off the field actions, etc... Pretty much the same way I would grade any quarterback.

Neither one of these will be the starter. Sir Cornwallace is going to start for Alabama.

Allen?

He threw for 2,500 yards, 20TD's and 5INT's last year.

If you put him on the 2012 Alabama Football team he wins a national title because those numbers are actually a tad better than McCarron's. They beat LSU in tRematch and wrestled away a ticket LSU had in its large paws to the "Greatest Team in CFB History," Discussion.

You may think its all about 4K yard passers, but you had the leading passer in the SEC last year and he got BENCHED while he was doing it. Your offense is productive from a stats perspective but it still hasn't been proven to be able to compete for and win a division or conference championship in the SEC.

Am I saying Allen, Hill or JFF weren't amazing? No I'm not. I'm saying that Allen's way better than what you're saying he is by simply making an obtuse comparison to what your QB's do statistically.

Having said that:

1.) Your kid
2.) The Dak Attack
2A.) Arkansas' Kid (For what they do he's perfect)
4.) Jeremy Johnson
5.) Whoever Bama Starts
6.) Whoever we start that Les will bungle
7.) Machine Gun Kelly

No, they're not.
