My opinion on Aubitron has changed

I used to hate the idea of Aubitron. I loathed it. Every bone in my body ached in hate.
But today as I was driving down Wire Road headed to campus it struck me..and my opinion of Aubitron flipped completely.
You can finally tell what the full finished Aubitron will look like and it matches the design of that side of the stadium.
The most noise in JHS is generated from that end zone and Aubitron will serve as a wall and keep that noise inside the lower bowl.
It closes in the two sides really well and makes an intimidating entrance for opposing teams coming out of their tunnel.
All hail our overlord Aubitron.

I'm assuming they will cover the rest of the back up?

I am warning to his presence although I won't lie that I am insanely intrigued by the construction and technical aspects.

I am happier with its overall appearance as well.

The initial diagrams and mock pictures made it look terrible.
The actual board looks much better than I thought it would. The gray border blends much better with the stadium.
Like others I am waiting to see what happens with the open erector set look on the back. In the past that has been covered with pictures of past players. I prefer we not do that. Prefer simple gray, but I see Tiger stripes or some other designer nightmare. In fact prefer open erector look.

I agree. At first, the renderings they released looked like it had brick cladding, but I'm glad to see the gray as well.
