So if I'm understanding some here, each year, there is only one good team in the SEC and I should be looking at it along these lines.
Bama - Only good team in the SEC.
Mizzou - Sucks more than Bama.
MSU - Sucks even more.
UGA - Sucks about the same as MSU.
OM - The suckage keeps getting bigger.
Aub - And bigger.
UF - And bigger.
LSU - Suckage reaching disproportionate heights.
and so on down the line.
Bro now youre making me feel bad for arguing with you. If I'd have known you were this retarded I would of never said anything. You know they make programs now for people with special needs, I think it'd be a great idea if you checked that out.

You are deflecting my friend. I thought you were the one saying the only thing that mattered was winning the SECCG?!?!

Deflecting what? ... maybe you are delusional The reason the west is so good is not because there's one dominant team each year. It's beacuse all the teams are usually really good so the team that makes it out is the real winner.

The other night you pointed out how bad the 2012 Mizzou OL losses were, and it was a reasonable point to make, so I must ask, did you let a fire work hit you in the head over the weekend?
There is a reason you are focused on that non point, rather than my point of your lack of impressive wins and 2 double digit losses in the seccg.

Wait are both of yall serious right now?
ITS A COLLECTIVE THING jfc the fact that Alabama hasn't won the national championship since 2012 yet you still consider them to be the best proves my point.
And Kilo that's exactly what you did when I proved you wrong about the scheduling comparison...

This is my point. Talent wise, Mizzou is inferior to most of the East, yet....
I'm late to the party, but by what metric is Mizzou less talented than other teams in the East? We win more, we have more all-stars, and we get more players drafted early.

You're fricking unbelievable. It's never because the other team was simply the better team. Amirite?
It isn't really fair that UGA has to deal with all these injuries every season while the rest of the SEC teams are composed of invulnerable supermen. I wonder what it would be like to have players get hurt and it effect your team.

Seems like it could be a safety hazard, though.
Saban and Bert should champion their removal in the name of player safety.

I don't know what a powerhouse is. To me, there has only been one powerhouse. Bama. LSU came close and might have been there before 2012 I suppose. Others have had powerhouse teams in a given year but I'd hardly call say Auburn a powerhouse since we've been in the conference. They had a kick arse year but the year before were putrid. So no, I don't think Mizzou fans think Mizzou is a powerhouse like Bama. I do think most Mizzou fans think for the past 2 years, Mizzou has been a top 3 or 4 team in the SEC.
I agree with this.
And given our respective teams in 2013 and 2014, I think Missouri would have beaten LSU in both years.

I think Mizzou wins 10 games this honestly, they have a manageable schedule and a good team.
Ten is too high.
Due to graduations, injuries, attrition and auto accidents, we're paper thin at WR, DL and RB this year.
If Mauk doesn't improve significantly 10 wins ain't happening.

1 Mizzu hasn't had to play LSU, Auburn, or Bama the past 2 years. Their OOC schedule the past two years is garbage too outside of a 9 win UCF team last year.
2. Their best win in 3 years is against an Okie St team that finished 17th (in a bowl game)
3. They've faced 9 teams that finished in the top 10. They are 0-9 against those top 10 teams. Nearly all of those losses are embarrassing to.
2012 lost by
21 to UGA
21 to USCe
32 to Bama
7 to UF
30 to TAMU
2013 lost by
3 to USCe
17 to Auburn
2014 lost by
34 to UGA
29 to Bama
They win enough games to make it to the East title, but is that even really that special? It's like Wisconsin and Nebraska in their division. Everybody else is either mediocre or bad so it's not that hard. Same goes with FSU. In their championship winning season, they faced one team in the regular season that finished ranked, ONE. Their schedule that year reads out like a birthday cupcake with 1 sprinkle.

Why are LSU fans so jealous of Mizzou?
Seems they are the most butthurt fan base on here in regards to Mizzou winning.

They still give a title for that? I thought you just got a gift certificate to Golden Corral, a one night stay in Atlanta, and an automatic bid to the Citrus Bowl ?

Jealous
You think WAY too highly of yourself there. I'm pointing out simple facts.
1) Every time you face a great team, you are crushed, or at the very least, lose.
2) You have played none of the top 3 teams in the West the past 2 years (none of the top 5 West teams in 2014).
3) The East has been down, yes it has.
Like I said, I did the same for Wisconsin and FSU, and OSU. Nothing personal, and don't take it that way.

The car accident didn't help any I admit. That having been said I like the way Mizzou's schedule sets up for the season. If Pinkel has found another batch of diamonds in the rough I think Missouri has the firepower to plow through a lot of their schedule.
I'm still penciling them in for a ten win season this year... but if they get some more injuries in key positions that could change for the worse.

Just jumping in on this whole thread. I'll be pretty logical.
For Mizzou and Texas A&M, anything pre-2012 isn't relevant to our fan bases (outside natty's essentially). We only have 3 years to compare ourselves directly, the rest is simply incomparable. But...here is my take:
Why have tough OOC schedules? SEC schedule is tough enough as is, why put your team through more tough games than necessary? Also, last time I checked, the OOC games have nothing to do with SECCG or divisions? I enjoy fun OOC matchups, but I'd take 4 easy wins to 1 fun loss against an elite team any day.
Hot take...part of the reason they are elite and in the top 10 is because they beat mizzou. If mizzou wins those games, they don't finish in the Top 10. Top 25 is more accurate because it has more fluctuation room when teams lose.
Pretty special...about the 4th most important thing behind natty, playoff, conference champion. More important than subjective bowls for sure.
"still counts". They were undefeated national champs...easy schedule or not. Would you rather have tough schedule and go 8-4?
If we are looking objectively since our arrival...only Alabama and Auburn have any claim to talking shite. They are the only teams who have achieved more than us in our 3-year old SEC life.
