I won't lie. I haven't had a slight thought of concern until this morning when I went to Bleacher Report and Sallee wrote an article on the situation.

He's a huge Ole Miss homer and when he typed: "Should Ole Miss be worried? ABSOLUTELY" a light clicked. Now I'm slightly worried, but I don't think the NCAA will do anything to us. They need teams like us, TCU, MSU, etc for this playoff system to appeal to the public.

Honestly, I am not worried about the NCAA proving shite. I just dont think they can. What worries me is the fact that WAOM and the NCAA clearly wants to prove themselves still relevent...and the whole anti everything confederate right now. I know Ole Miss has distanced themselves considerably from those old symbols, but I doubt that matters to the NCAA. They do not always need proof to impose sanctions.

At worst, Tunsil is suspended 4 games (we're going 3-1 regardless if he's on the field or not) and possibly a loss of a few scholarships. LT comes back at 100% after a five week hiatus. Elite Dawgs is comedy hour at the moment. 40 and 50 year olds happiness derived from seeing a 20 year old face a hardship or two.

How is Lee Wooldridge such a fat frick considering he never takes the collective Ole Miss communities dick out of his mouth to eat?

Why does the "at worst" scenario keep getting worse?

First it was one game, now it is two games, and it is becoming four games?

You need to step away from ED or at least just read their shite for pure entertainment. This has been one of their MANY pitches and reasonings as to why we will get slammed.

Slammed because our ties to Confederate heritage? El oh fricking el. And the whole "they don't need proof". I guess technically no they don't need proof. But they aren't gonna level us too hard without some hard proof.

And IMO (which really doesn't count for shite) but my outlook is that without actual proof we can make Miller look like he is just trying to bring Tunsil down because of the arse whipping he was given.

I was thinking back to Penn State. What they did was not even football related and their program got hit pretty hard. Mainly for PC reasons. Granted, Sandusky is POS, but I dont see why in the hell that brought santions against their football team. Just throw his sorry butt in jail and bring criminal charges where they apply. This is the sort of thing that worries me. PC issues fuel the NCAA.

Don't lump this in to a molestation case that has zero similarities.

The biggest issue there -- and the one that blows my mind -- is Lack of Institutional Control. It was common knowledge (and then was confirmed during the subsequent investigation) that two years prior to the Sandusky thing, a handful of Penn State Board members went to Joe Pa and asked him to announce his retirement. They were prepared to give him all the fanfare and trimmings of going out on top. Parades, victory tours, streets named after him, etc.

But he refused. He told them to get fricked and that he would coach as long as he wanted to. And he did.

Sooooo, you have a public institution where the football coach tells the Board what the terms of his employment will be. Not the other way around. That is the VERY DEFINITION of Lack of Institutional Control. And they should have gotten the Death Penalty for that, and not because their defensive coach was buggering kids.

Exactly. Testimony was the same from everyone but Sandusky and even he half way admitted to it.

Miller has no proof. If he had proof he would have sold it to TMZ or someone willing to pay up. If I got a bank statement showing large funds placed in acct or something like that why no make a crap load of money now. Any chance of Tunsil being his meal ticket is out the window.

Yeah. If he acts cool and keeps his mouth shut, worst case scenario he gets to live in a nice house his stepson buys for his wife. And the refrigerator is always full, the bills get paid on time, and he has box seats to an NFL game every weekend.

Now, he is looking for a reasonably priced single wide for $300 a month and probably has to go find a job. Smooth work there, buddy!

Was using it as an example of what the NCAA can do for PC reasons. Not bc it has similarities with current situation.

I'm not linking it but a certain administrator on a certain board has yet again announced that "IT's coming and it's going to be fantastic".

ETA: I saw it on twitter. I do not make a habit of visiting that website.
