I think LSU having guys like Ron Brooks and Jalen Collins drafted so high helps bring in this type of talent despite who's on the roster. They know if they come to LSU they will get exposure.
Brooks was the 3rd CB for 3 years, got drafted in the 3rd and is still in the league. Collins was a perennial backup until Robinson went full retard and got drafted in the 2nd.
ETA: Honestly, it's the same reason Bama has had such a stockpile of talent at the LB position.

The kids come from all over the country. Its just been a bonus for us to get out of state recruits from the place.

More like replacing the Gators or Bulldawgs in the pipeline. Our 4 year recruiting average is #2/3. We are doing just fine.

Someone on the LSU RB Is claiming Manuel's a legit LSU commit. Doesn't seem to credible, but I hope he's right.
