Didn't AU get a guy with similar charges?
:crickets:

Lolz. If he responds he'll just say old nick was a lookout and cam didn't actually steal the laptop. Just a hunch though

Do you see that Internet strangers? Do you see my moral righteousness? Look at how good of a person I am by voicing my disapproval in his ongoing recruitment to UA!

If ole Nick's crimes were so serious, why didn't Georgia get the police involved? He was never arrested like this kid

His teammates didn't press charges

Ok Les...so now we letting the team determine the punishment
Posted on 6/22/15 at 11:46 pm to AmericusDawg
Still makes a pretty big difference whether he was charged or not. This is especially true when this entire argument was started by a bammer claiming Saban would no longer recruit this kid after his punishment was announced

So you are saying not getting arrested for the same crime makes one a better person?
Posted on 6/23/15 at 8:25 am to crimsonian
Are you fricking kidding me? I think almost everybody outside of your retarded arse would agree there is s pretty big difference between pleading guilty or being found guilty of a crime and never even being charged with a crime.

Are you serious? One guy gets arrested for theft. Another guy steals but doesn't get arrested and he is a better person?
Makes you the retarded arse.

If they committed the same crime, why weren't they charged with the same crime? Considering the United Stares legal sysytem is built on the idea of innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, I would say there is definitely a difference between them.

Are YOU seriously making this argument right now? You, the guy who has bashed Jalen Mills for beating a woman despite not being charged with assault every chance you get?
Let me guess, the police and DA are just covering up for Mills. Meanwhile, Nick Marshall was just the victim of a huge misunderstanding?

You are such a butthurt little bitch over that issue. The latest news I have heard about Jalen Mills is that he will likely enter some program that includes community service and drug testing in return for the charges being dropped against him. Maybe you can explain how that compares to Nick Marshall never being charged to begin with and facing zero punishment from the legal system

BOOM!
Backed himself into a corner on this one. What about the Bama player you gripe about all the time who deals drugs but hasn't been charged with anything? Can't wait for this answer.

This thread just got interesting.
Big difference in the two cases with Nick and Darnell are that Nick stole from people he knew that were willing to give him a pass and not push for him to be charged with theft. Darnell stole from two people that didn't know him and wanted him prosecuted. They even tracked him down by using the fricking Find My Phone app. Big difference in the way each case was handled, but doesn't mean one is any better than the other. They're both thieves.

No, that would actually be you. You know, an AU fan constantly bashing a player from another team over a legal issue.

So, the charges were reduced from felony assault to simple battery and he hasn't been convicted of anything yet? So, why do you continue to act and post about him like he's been convicted of a felony assault charge? I thought you're a firm believer of "innocent until proven guilty"?

Do you understand how the legal system works? Marshall stole from a teammate who then chose not to press charges. You realize that the police don't gen involved unless the crime is reported to them, correct?

the only thing interesting about your post is that you try to paint Nick Marshall in the worst possible light, yet your school had a certain basketball coach just a few years before him who was bringing in players like Tony Cole and at least attempting to bring in other players who had already served jail time for armed robbery

You mean the coach and players we got rid of and don't currently have anymore, you really got me there. Go regurgitate your BS somewhere else. Fact is you took in a guy that was a known thief. There's no way to dispute that.
