Since Bama is the benchmark for the process, and since Bama already used the formula wouldn't Bama still be 14?
Nah, sucka. We'd have 28 (19 if you ask Korin) if we claimed them like you people accuse us of.

Someone seriously voted LSU #1 that year. They were a very good team, that still would of been destroyed by Miami.

There's a reason for that.

28 if we counted every year that we were selected by anyone. We claim 15, due to the 1941 bogus year. 14 "recognized" years.
That contradicts the title of the thread. You said the way bammer does it. Bama did it and now has 14. I believe you are saying Bama would have 28 if you counted championships the way Tuscaloosa does it. :)

Don't take my word for it. Count 'em up yourself. It's the 15 y'all claim plus 1945, 1966, 1975, and 1977.

Notre Dame too.

"like bammer does" is in quotes for a reason... Not my words... the famous words of the SECRant

Scrolling down and then getting the Miss State pic made me lol for real.

Which is exactly why they're not recognized, and why they're not bolded or italicized in the OP, bud.

Noticed you did not BOLD the 1941 championship that Bama claims when they finished 20th in the AP, third in the conference and were awarded the championship years after the fact.
Heh... I bet you were thinking the whole time you typed this, "I got you bammer!"

Give up man. As I stated before, literacy is not the strongest skill on SECr.

Don't you think 10 games would need to be played so there is a large enough sample size to determine if your team is good.

Bama, UGA Tenn and LSU = Big 4

Georgia - 11 (2)
2007
I have deeply conflicting opinions about that 2007 Georgia team. On one hand, I thought they got jobbed and would have destroyed OSU in the BCS Title Game, but on the other hand they were sort of a soft 11-2 looking back. They lost to a 6-6 USC team and Fulmer's last decent Tennessee team before he got canned, and they beat Kentucky by 3, Vandy by 3, Chan Gailey's last Ga. Tech team, Saban's first Bama team, and an vastly overrated Hawaii team in the Sugar Bowl.
