Vols' last seven years on the field:
2008: 5-7
2009: 7-6
2010: 6-7
2011: 5-7
2012: 5-7
2013: 5-7
2014: 7-6
The Vols win between 5 and 7 games every year and lose between 5 and 7 games every year, irrespective of coaches, recruiting class ranks (both on signing day and after the eventual, umm, attrition), Western division opponent, etc. The trend will probably continue this year.

And Auburn went 3-9 one year and went to the Natty the next year. It's football

I like UT's trend better than Vanderbilt's.
