I didn't post to prove any points about which horse is better. I just thought it was cool to see the two races synced up. I wished they could have superimposed one into the other.

Like I said, I think the comparison is extremely cool. Was hoping for superimposition like you said, though. They do it in alpine skiing in the Olympics and it's awesome

As Secretariat had the genetic advantage of an oversized heart (which processes more energy) you can have no true comparison. If American Pharaoh had the same genetic anomaly then a comparison. Just enjoy each race for what it is.

Actually, the name was submitted in a nationwide contest. The person who entered it was the one who misspelled it. The owner just took the name from the entry form.
