Kentucky had the checkered end zones first. Stoll Field had it in the 30's. Tennessee started it at Neyland in the 60's.

Nope...pictures show that they didn't actually show up on Stoll field until the late 50's to mid 60's. It looks like they were about the same time that the put them in Neyland...which were both after they were in place at Alabama.
