is the bluegrass state really using artificial turf?

Yeah, the Bermuda grass field was extremely hard to maintain, especially October-December and because of this, the team couldn't get an practice on the actual game field.

Stoops has said one of the reasons he wanted to go with turf was so that the team could practice in the stadium leading up to games.

Also, the turf won't be an absolute disaster in November/December as it has been forever.

Speaking of Kentucky football how do the Wildcats look this year? Is the Stoops rebuilding project still moving forward?

Mizzou has turf for the same reason. The climate zone of Kentucky and Missouri makes it near impossible to maintain nice grass in the late season.

Stoops shouldn't make decisions that last more than one year. If he does well he leaves. If he does poorly he is fired
