Theres a way that you can get a whole bunch of frozen burritos sent to them.
The replication of the sauce is that it tastes like a runny chili sauce to me

Speaking of sauce lol....Does anyone know how to make the irish gold sauce from Innisfree? I would cover anything and everything in that shite.

The Taco Casa sauce is so good since it has a little bit of crack in it

I've been in Houston for a couple of months, and Tex Mex pretty much sucks. I miss some half and half hatch green chili sauce with pork. Though I'm gonna try to get back to Colorado in a couple weeks, to get that smothered burrito.

Am I alone in the opinion that Taco Casa really, really sucks? I really like Mexican food but I've never had a good experience with TC, and I've given it a fair shot at a couple of different locations.

I still savor their Enchilada cheese sauce. Don't know what kind of crap they put in it but I have never had that taste anywhere.

No. While I love it and have regular cravings for it, I've introduced it to several people that have no connection to Tuscaloosa that didn't like it.

If you are from Tuscaloosa and grew up on the slop, then you typically love it.
Most people who aren't from Tuscaloosa don't know what all the fuss is about.
I do love that irish gold sauce from Innisfree. Love to get the wings there tossed in that sauce.

Taco Casa tasted like dog food. Dating a Townie made me despise that restaurant. They did have pretty good sweet tea though.

True, though I have a few friends from college that aren't from Tuscaloosa that fell in love with it.
I always compare it to Momma Goldberg's. All my Auburn friends love Momma Goldberg's, but I don't really get the hype.

I love Taco Casa and get a Sancho and an order of beefy nachos every time I'm in town...Also love the cheesy enchillada sauce.
quote:Momma Goldberg's is the same as the old Solomon's that used to be on the Strip back many years ago. Steamed sandwiches are ok, nothing great. Now the Momma's nachos are to die for (Dorito's covered in pepper jack cheese and peppers, steamed til they melt) Yum!
