I think a lot of the major changes we've seen lately is due to CJP. CMR has been the one constant at UGA since 2001, and even though he is a fantastic person, he has been a good, but not great FB coach. I hope he and this FB program wins it all, but I still believe he is only a good FB coach. Nothing more. Would I want my sons to play for CMR? Abso damned lutley! But, I would not expect any championships.

That's a small part of it along with Adams leaving & Jere stepping up to the plate & telling Mcgarity "give CMR whatever he needs to catch up & keep up in the SEC arms race". Aparently there were a few come to Jesus meetings in mid-Dec. where folks were told to either get on the "New Attitude" train or get run over...

McGarity is prolly closer to losing his job currently than CMR is...

CMR is now being given what he needs in terms of support, staff & upgrades... No more excuses, now doubt now that he is "on the clock" & must produce sooner rather than later...

The new Administration has made a commitment to winning & CMR now has to hold up his end of the deal or else...

Depends on what your definition of good and great is. If you think having one of the top 5 or six winning percentages in football is good, then he is good. If it is great, then he is great. Many on here think he is not great because he has never won a NC. Dan marino never won a Super Bowl, but I consider him a great NFL QB.
