Nothing better than 17-0 Boudreaux.

Division championships are different than conference titles.
Taking the Alabama approach I see.

Not even SEC championships or national championships are better than that?

No, the "Who in the Hell gives a Damn?!" Approach to SEC West CO-Championships...
Hang the Banner; never mind that LSU represented in Hotlanner...

WRONG. Correct answer is Kentucky, late '70's...
You really need to know your history better, especially when Miss State is involved in it.
In 1976 Georgia and Kentucky were subsequently "named" SEC Co-Champions. Why? Because, Mississippi State forfeited all their games that season.
Kentucky went 4-2 in SEC play losing to Georgia and Miss State. Georgia went 5-1 in SEC play losing only to Ole Miss.
After Mississippi State forfeited their games for the 1976 season, Kentucky went from 4-2 to 5-1 and "shared" the SEC Title with Georgia, who actually went 5-1 on the field and beat Kentucky head to head.

Then technically they AREN'T "co-champs" if UGA BEAT UK in their head-to-head.

There's something really insecure about this post. I can't quite place my finger on it. Or, rather, I don't want to place my finger on it because it's sticky and I'm pretty sure why.

Logically, no. But bureaucracy will bureaucracy. If they are declared co-champs by the SEC because they had identical records, that's just how it stands. You can join a large group of teams that have legitimate gripes with the AP's former habit of crowning champions over teams that beat them and had similar records.
