What exactly did BB do at Wisconsin again? Wasn't Barry Alvarez running the team?

Yes. Bert was just the fat figurehead of the Badgers.

Yep Bielema didn't do anything except: Recruit and develop the players and coach the team. Besides that, Bielema didn't do much.

He won 2 and had one given too him... 8-6 isn't a conference champion.

Also he went 0-3 in Rose bowls, including a loss to a mid major.

His last season at UW-Madison he won 8 games, Gary Fricking Anderson has won 9 and 11.

Barry Alvarez handed the keys over to an already well oiled machine, a team that won 19 games the 2 seasons prior and Bert successfully didn't screw it up, under BA's supervision.

I'm sure Sumlin would have some conference championships If Bob Stoops just handed him the OU program during it's peak.

We can't all follow Kelly from job to job and reap the rewards of his hard work.

OU isn't a program that would ever have to settle for a coach like Sumlin.

Since 2012 Sumlin's Offense has averaged the most PPG in the conference, and the 2nd most wins in the division.

Bert snuck up on two teams and now he's a natural state hero, just because he resembles your population and mascot.

Sumlin is respected by his peers, while everyone bert has worked with in the past has publically said good riddance.

Bert, he seems to understand the importance of defense, Sumlin seems to regard it as a necessary evil.

Doubtful. He couldn't win one with Houston after Briles handed it over to him upon building them up. It probably wouldn't have happened at OU either.

How many championships has that resulted in?

Sumlin being gift wrapped two successful QBs at jobs he took over doesn't make him qualified for the OU job, aggy job, yes, but others have higher standards and is why they have been relevant on a national level after the japs bombed Pearl Harbor.

Briles won 8 games his last season at houston. Piggies making blanket statements, while i'm providing facts, numbers, and context.

Briles won enough to land a better job.

Sumlin has 0 winning seasons at Houston without Briles' star QB.

Briles won two division championships and a conference championship his last two season at Houston. Which Sumlin failed to capitalize on going forward with zero conference championships over the following four years.

One of those losses was to the premier program in Texas as well. No shame in that.

The way Bert coaches is traditionally more conducive of winning championships, so give me him by a long shot. Sumlin may have a flash in the pan, but that's all he is just flashy.
