We make sense geographically in 3 different conferences. We are a better fit for the SEC than the B1G though.

I equate the Big 12 to the Big 10 without the money or academia. Vast majority of Big 12 is incredibly boring small stadiums and atmosphere.
The bottom line is that if the Big 12 broke up, none of the P4 conferences would even want the majority of their members. Texas and OU should be embarrassed they don't win this shitty conference every year.

our resident big 12 posters just couldnt help themselves. im surprised we havent gotten our baylor posters in this thread as that fanbase generally lives for this shite

Not rich, but definitely uptight and pious in that Baptist way that tends to grate on your patience. They're also an EXTREMELY low football iq fanbase, even compared to the Horns. It's shocking how unfamiliar they are with the basics. They boo the coin toss outcome for fricks sake.

The B1G/AAU interrelationship is not a 2 way street. B1G wants its members to be AAU members but cannot cause it - they are maybe 1/5 to 1/6 of the overall AAU membership. AAU doesn't care about athletic affiliation. If if did Nebraska wouldn't have been kicked out of the AAU within its first year of B1G membership.
