Going on a bachelor party trip to destin in two weeks. What courses would you suggest for a group of ok golfers in Destin?

Baytowne and Raven in Sandestin are nice. Around $100 green fee's.

They went private. Kelly Plantation, Regatta Bay, Sandestin and the Raven are all great choices.

Sandestin has 4 courses in it. Where are you staying at when you are down there? You guys are ok golfers because you tend to spray it some or just short hitters? If you are short hitters, Bluewater Bay across the mid-bay bridge is a fun shorter course but it is tight with houses on both sides.
The others are right about Kelly Plantation (Fred Couples helped design it) and Regatta Bay but I will also add Emerald Bay though it has lost some luster from 15 years ago. Most of the courses around there are going to cost you around the 120 mark right now. We are going down this weekend and Sandestin's Links course is 112 on a Friday, Baytowne is 95 on a Saturday. Raven is the most expensive of them and I think we paid about 125 last year.
Hell I could give you the name and number of a cabby down there that has a van that is reasonable and knows where everyone is on any given night. Tex is the man though his backseat hasn't been bolted down in the 4 years since we started using him and he gets really pissed if you grab his extra cowboy hat out of the back.

We are staying right bay the Destin Harbor on Gulf Shore Drive. We are mostly short hitters. A couple will spray it a few times. Somewhere open would probably be best for us.
Hell yes. We had that cabby when we were down there for spring break last year. Dude was crazy.

Yeah, on the GPS Screen in each cart, they give you a play by play of how Couples did when he played in the inaugural round for the course. Its actually pretty humbling. "On this Par 5, Fred knocked his drive 325 yards down the middle. He used an 8 iron for 180 yard approach shot leaving him a seven foot eagle putt that he made with ease."

Head up to Freeport and play Windswept Dunes; it truly is a hidden gem. Trust me, you wont be sorry...
