If they didn't, I would fire everyone on the account.

I hate all this crap that we have to do for these young kids to do what makes them happy. Sure, someone approved the warmup jerseys and maybe some of the players were involved in the design. But turn the jersey upright and tell me some old fart in the athletic department would see that. Let's wait and see what happens with the contract. If they aren't terminated on a morals' clause of some sort, then we will know. If the contract is terminated, then maybe you will know (never admit; but know)

The best part is that MSU isn't even playing Ole Miss.

Then who came up with it? Typically on specialized designs like this they're sent to someone at the school first for review. Or they specifically ask the school for feedback on what they want (i.e. Louisville and their black football jerseys with the nickname The Ville on the front).

Just looking at this picture here, at first glance you can see there are multiple sayings on it. I looked for a minute just to see what all it says (i.e. Left Field Lounge, Hail State, Starkvegas, etc) and those are all pretty clear in just a second of looking at it. And the "F--K" is even more obvious because of the spacing compared to the other lettering and your eye is kind of drawn to it.

The larger point is that those things still go through someone in the AD before they're handed to a player. Whether it be someone in marketing that helped design it or a coach who saw them before it was handed to a player to wear. That's the kind of shite some street side vendor not affiliated with the school comes up with.
