Football - Said it before, will say it again: There's Tiger Stadium, and everywhere else.

Seriously, Tiger Stadium has by far the best combination of seats, suites, club seating, overall premium seating, amount of chair back seating, proximity to exits, and proximity to restrooms and concessions. And some of the best, if not the best overall, sight lines of any stadium anywhere.

Every other stadium in this conference is fighting for second place.

/thread.

Basketball - TBA

Baseball - Baum Stadium

These should only be done if you are not allowed to name your own. But that would not address the outright haters. Ban these threads!

Kyle Field

The quietest 100,000 people in football. I used to think The University of Texas football fans were docile. tamu takes it to a whole new level. The "sway" thing they do is pretty cool, but I wasn't greatly impressed with Kyle Field when I went.

When you have the actual Final Four Floor in your multimillion dollar locker room and a brand new Coal Lodge to replace the 20 year old Coal Lodge you realize UK has facilities most NBA teams would envy

Overall facilities

Currently probably LSU but in the next few years UK may be top of the heap overall

Just built
* top end softball facilities
* top end soccer facilities
* top end track and field facilities

In progress or future construction
* Downsized football facilities for top end donors and corporate types
* Probably downsize of Rupp to follow the football model - 6,000 less seats but ultra luxury facilities
* New 30 - 40 million baseball stadium

Tennis facilities are above average and so are swimming and diving facilities in conference

When looking at SEC sports, UK may have the best overall in the next few years (granted this is based on viewing each sport as an equal weight when we know the reality is football and basketball drive the economic bus)

To get this thread back on track:

Football - LSU
Basketball - Tennessee
Baseball - Arkansas

And overall school facilities - Tennessee

Tennessee is the first and so far only school in the country with a 100,000 seat football stadium and a 20,000 seat basketball arena. Plus the Vols have top four in the conference facilities in every sport.

I love how our fans think we have the best facilities in the country when we don't even have the best facilities in our division. Then they want to bitch and moan about the coaches when they don't land x recruit because players shouldn't want to play anywhere else. As if other schools around the country don't have anything to offer. Its sad and pathetic.

Football - Kyle Field and its not even close

Basketball - not sure

Baseball - for fans, South Carolina. (For overall stadium, inside and out, Blue Bell Park, although I do like LSU and Arky. Can't wait to see what MSU and Bama do though.)

Football:
Kyle, Bryant-Denny, Tiger, Sanford, Neyland, Reynolds, Ben Hill Griffin, Jordan-Hare, Commonwealth, Williams-Brice, Davis-Wade, Vaught-Hemingway, Memorial, Vanderbilt

But really all are top notch except the last two - and even Mizzou and Vandy are improving.

(A&M, UK, OM, Mizz are doing renovations/additions,
LSU, Aub, MSU doing cosmetics/improvements.)

Basketball:
Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn,
Florida, LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mizzou, Vandy, A&M, Alabama, South Carolina, Miss St.
(Ole Miss building new facility)
(Alabama, LSU doing cosmetics, improvements)

Baseball:
Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Miss State,
Auburn, Florida, A&M, Kentucky, Vandy, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Missouri.
(Alabama, MSU building new facilites/renovating.)
(Vandy, LSU doing cosmetics, additions.)
