More talented than 06 though?

I dunno, big players that came off of that '05 team were Jo Addai, Skyler Green, Andrew Whitworth, and Kyle Williams. May be more talented than '06, but '06 was more mature, and the offense was much more explosive.
'06 is probably the best LSU team of the BCS era.

I agree anybody that includes a team with a loss is a moron. Part of being great is doing it every week

I agree, those with SEC losses shouldn't be considered.

You think 2010 Auburn would beat 2008 Florida?
I don't.
I don't.

No way. Florida was better at almost every position and had the superior coach

2009 BAMA
2008 Florida

There is no other answer. 2011 LSU is the only team that comes close, imo.

I'd argue 2011 Bama and LSU were two of the top 5-10 teams all time in CFB history.

Except the 2011 Bama/LSU teams would obliterate the other teams on the list. They had to play each other, doesn't make them worse than unbeaten teams.

Those two defenses were quite likely GOAT. Those two offenses were below average.

2011 Alabama or 2008 Florida. That 2008 Florida team was on another level by the end of the season. 2008 Oklahoma was the best college offense I have ever seen and Florida toyed with them in the title game. But I would still go with 2011 Alabama by an eyelash.
2012 UGA beats 2002 UGA by a few TDs.

He only went with the no loss argument so he could include two overrated Auburn teams in the top 5.

Probably the most talented team in Tennessee history.

I think the best SEC team of the last 25 seasons is the 2011 Alabama team.
I think the second best SEC team of the last 25 years is the 2011 LSU team.
The third best SEC team of the last 25 years would be one of the Florida teams

Man that team was loaded. To this day, I don't know how UGA beat them in Knoxville.

We can discuss the one loss teams all day, but here are my thoughts on it.
in no order:
1992 Alabama (13-0)
1998 Tennessee (13-0)
2004 Auburn (13-0)
2009 Alabama (14-0)
2010 Auburn (14-0)
Alabama 2009 was not a great team. Solid team, very few stars and played a weak arse schedule. That team would lose to all of the above teams no doubt.
Auburn 2010 was a blast to watch but they gave up points and yards to errbody. If they faced a great team, they would be hard pressed to win. I will eliminate them. (Sorry Cam)
Alabama 1992 was a great defense and a shat shat offense. No way that offense scores more than 14 points on any of the above teams. Sorry.
That leaves 1998 UT and 2004 Auburn.
Push.
I hate bama and UF but 2011 Bama, 2011 LSU and 2008 UF would molly wop those teams.

+ Georgia played their game of the year that season.
That was a massive signature win to kick off the Mark Richt era, no doubt.
I still say that 2001 Tennessee was the only team in the country that could've given Miami a real game that year. I know that's not a popular opinion though.
