That may be fine for you; it's not for me.
I'm not going "ape" over anything.
I wouldn't choose to express myself in the manner he did, that's all.

As someone who uses the word in different company, I agree with this. Even if you have no problem with the word, you have to have a sense of professionalism and never forget that in that situation you're an ambassador for your institution and refrain from such cavalier language.

Hate to break it to ya...but that is the culture in the locker room.

Problem, Harrison brought that culture outside of the locker room. Trust me, what is said in the locker room would make everyone blush...it is nowhere close to being PC...and white and black athletes go back and forth with the verbiage all the time.
