Well that's just false. 99.9% of LSU fans wouldn't even mention aTm's honor code.

Not normally no, but it was a talking point then.

That is part of the difference. For a Texas fan, as soon as he heard the JFF news the idea of "WHAT ABOUT THE HONOR CODE?!!" popped into his head. Meanwhile Corndogs only learned about the code because the situation seemed to contradict that code. Prior to JFF the code didn't matter to a LSU fan, but the Texas fan had it on the front lobe for the day it got violated.

That is part of the baggage we left behind. In the Big 12 almost every Texas school fanbase knew all the narrative and talking points about us- the jizz jars, the nut squeezes, the dog cemetery, etc. It became boring because it was so standardized. Plus it came with a REAL sense of hate, not just the LSU fan love of someone getting hit in the nuts kinda hate.

As we have joined the SEC we have watched as yall took all that narrative, threw out the stuff you didn't like, and ape the things yall didn't understand. It has been a refreshing process that eventually will give way to a convention but for the time being is a fun ride.
