It's not about giving the media what they wanted. It's about admitting you screwed up by giving a scholarship to a woman beater instead of an 18 year old who deserved it.

I didn't expect any different. Saban is committed to being that way and it will never change.

ETA: if you listen to the conference, he is so lost when it comes to what Taylor did to become a part of the program. He stumbles. I know people make mistakes, but Saban rarely sounds lost. In that moment, he didn't sound like he knew exactly what Taylor had done.
