No, because I know that Saban was coming from a good place with his decision to accept him in the first place. I thought he answered the questions pretty fairly.

I'm not sure what everyone wanted Saban to say. He tried to help a kid and it backfired.

He sounded lost when it came to the process for him being admitted. He wasn't close to being sharp. We can be critical of him. While he did handle it without snapping, he refused to admit wrong. He said just enough to get by, which isn't what the media wanted. The backlash is going to be stronger after that presser. It's not about what we as fans think.
