I wish we could ban Auburn sidewalks from attending UAB....

PBJr and the Bama BOT's leadership has been on-point. Academically and athleticaly things have never been better. Record enrollment, record academic metrics, record financial surpluses, expansion and growth everywhere. All athletics are doing very well and they are swinging for the fences onthe basketball front.

UAB has grown from a satellite campus 45 years ago to world renowned medical and research institution with a huge undergrad enrollment. Under the BOT stewardship it is one of the key economic engines for the State of Alabama.

Respectfully disagree. A better timeline would be to look at the past 15 years for UAB. The medical standing has dropped in ranking nationally. The President has cut faculty benefits, making it less likely to keep quality professors. The President attempted to kill the nationally recognized honor's program and stopped construction on new upgades within the business department.

The BoT is taking the heat on this because many believe he would not act without consulting the BoT on all these issues as well as athletics --- although to be fair -- he claims they had no input. The BoT hired him and they are the only ones who can show him the door.
