Why do you people dislike Kevin Sumlin?

Is it because he has kicked a majority of your asses?
Winning records vs Auburn, Arky, Ole Miss, and MSST.
More bowl wins than LSU, Auburn, Arky, Ole Miss, and MSST.
Maybe because he has already had a Heisman winner and will have several more in the next few years.
Or is it because he will have the two best West QBs this fall on the same team?

What does that even mean overpaid? Where is a standard of measurement? How does his salary affect you as a person?

0 SEC titles, 0 major bowl wins, 0 SEC West titles, 0-3 against LSU, and 13-11 in SEC play. That's not worth $5 mil annually, especially being a flagship of TX and all.

Hilarious coming from a Florida fan who lost to a garbage SC team. Also please post Florida's bowl win record and SEC champ record in the past 3 years since Sumlin took over

What in the hell does UF's record have to do with anything here? You asked why that poster felt Sumlin was overpaid, and you got an answer. Good god you are terrible.
eta: I have no ill will towards him, he seems alight to me. Nor do I feel he is particularly hated in the conference. I think you should just vacate this thread.

He's black. They don't think blacks should be coaches.
He's an offensive genius. They don't think blacks should be geniuses.
He ran through the league in his first season, finishing within a few points of going undefeated. No one should do that in the SEC.
He did this with a team that was brand new to the SEC. This was a great taboo.
His offense was so successful in the SEC that it made other SEC schools (including the great Alabama) change their offenses.
Had he had some defense in his 2nd season he would have won the SEC West easily.
Had he had some defense in his 3rd season and started his OTHER quarterback he might have won the SEC West.
Now he might be getting some defense! He stole an esteemed DC from an SEC West rival.
etc. etc. et al.
