SEC Scores
Today (3/24) in SEC Baseball...

UAB defeated Ole Miss twice
Ark Pine Bluff defeats Missouri
Mercer defeats Georgia
Georgia Tech defeats Auburn
Coastal Carolina defeats S Carolina
Western Ky defeats Kentucky
S Alabama defeats Alabama
Memphis defeats Arkansas
Southern Miss defeats Miss St

I realize that a mid week non conference game is no where near as critical as an SEC weekend, but this seems like a lot of upsets tonight.

At least LSU, Vandy, A&M and Florida won tonight. Weird!

A lot of those results aren't the most shocking.

Kinda weird I'd say, but if you don't believe in coincidences it isn't that weird. I'd expect those 4 to be the main contenders for the conference title. The one that IS weird to me is Mizzou losing to Arkansas Pine Bluff, but that's probably an anomaly.

What isn't? Vanderbilt making up 7 in the last 2 innings to come from behind, Florida making up 4 in the 9th to come from behind, and LSU going completely bonkers and scoring 10 in the late innings. A&M had the only game that was never really close.

The other 9 - well, stuff happens. It just happened all at once tonight.

FWIW, I've thought all along and still think you assholes (I mean that in a nice way ) are the favorites. Looking forward to April 23!

It seems like one of these nights happens to the conference about once a year. It is strange to see though.

Ole miss has 2 starting pitchers and two releivers that are SEC ready, the rest of the staff would get shelled by a high school all star team.

We will compete on Friday and Saturday but we will lose most Sunday's and midweek games.

Not surprising if UK is saving it's pitching for weekend conference games. Some young guys in the bullpen for them right now.

Can't speak for the rest of the SEC but it is pretty incredible that UGA can't recruit better in both basketball and baseball.
