It's not reasonable to expect to be better than an underperforming 8 seed? I'm ok with being an 8-9 seed occasionally, but I expect some 3, 4, 5,and 6 seeds thrown in there as well.

With the exception of KY and UF, who in the SEC fits that criteria?

No one, but the SEC kind of sucks in basketball. Just because yall suck, it doesn't mean we have to as well.

AU has sucked because of Facilities and an Administration's reluctancy to commit to Basketball. That has changed with the AU Arena and Bruce Pearl. Bama has to realize you can not just wish for something to happen.

Don't have to wish. Just need a coach. We've shown that we're committed to being good in basketball.

We are just talking about what it takes to make Bama an average program. It would take another post to discuss what it would take to become elite. Bama needs to be able to walk before thinking about running.

Walk...as in walking y'all's arse off the court TWICE this year? If it wasn't for Auburn and A&M, we'd have really sucked this year.

Gottfried got distracted and lazy at Bama. Getting fired was a wake-up call for him. He was and is a decent coach when he puts in the effort.

Where do you get your reading skills ? This entire post was about Mark Gottfried and how some Bama fans fail to recognize his coaching ability. It also was a statement on how hard the next coaches job will be, because even Mark Gottfried proved it could not be sustained for an extended period. It just fun reading DAs like you making up alibi's.
