I fully expect Vanderbilt to play like they just did against Ole Miss and kill us

Wow, kentucky has more tournament championships, with 27, than the rest of the SEC has put together, 26.

Vandy has been playing some good ball lately 8-2 the past 10 games. could see them making a good run in the tourney.

UK has a long history of cheating.

Not for nothing, but Mizzou did have 8 Big 8/Big 12 tournament championships.
A&M had 2 SWC tourney championships
A&M had 2 SWC tourney championships

Can't remember what year it was but we beat UF twice in the regular season. Made it to the finals of the SECt, had a chance to shoot a game winner but it was blocked by Noah.

Your right, not SEC Basketball tournament championships. But, both teams do have conference tournament titles to their name. Felt right to point out the fact that both teams did not simply have 0 conference tournament titles.

No tournament from 1952 to 1979?
I did not know that.

And to think many think we are insecure......

I’ll probably be blasted, but SCAR, Ole Miss and UGA have a favorable set-up. I could see either one of those teams making a run to play Kentucky. I don’t think they would beat the Cats but its a much easier road IMO. UGA will probably be without Gaines, SCAR beat UGA twice, Ole Miss is hit or miss. Should be fun.
Thanks for putting this together.
ETA: Watch out for the ‘Dores, they have some volumes shooters. They have been playing extremely well

UK has only won twice in the last 10 years. The tourney is far from a cinch. Can't wait for it to start up.

There is something about this Kentucky team. I wouldn’t crown them as the best team ever. However, they have excellent guard play, 2 legit post players, great defense and a deeper bench. They don’t have that defacto superstar, but they respond under pressure. My point, I’d bet on Kentucky this tourney.
Unless Ole Miss unleashes that annoying Spaniard of course. fricking guy

I agree, definitely glad SC is on that side of the bracket. Seems more favorable.
