I've only been to east Texas. Not much different than the rest of the South. Was disappointed in the eye candy in Dallas.

Lots of pretty much everything. Lot's of prosperity and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as job opportunity.
Very arrogant people, but not necessarily exclusive in nature. Decent coast, (south of Galveston) vast open spaces, big cities, Mexicans, Good food, Tex Mex, barbecue.

few ex's from texas.
I actually like the area around Dallas alot. West texas was a long drive but i did like the open areas.
