Honestly, I'm not sure I totally get the state of Texas silhouette for you guys. It seems like a slight at UT which would not shock me. Everyone knows B/CS is in Texas... Why incorporate it into a design when no other single team in the state, besides Aggy, seems to feel the need to do so?

We're not big on doing things, just to be like everyone else.
If, to use your example, every other team in the state did incorporate it into their design, we'd likely do something different.
It's the Texas Aggie way.

May not be as uncommon as you think.
Its as simple as we are proud of our state. Look at the block ATM logo with state across the board for us.
On another note, USCe court would look good if the logo int he middle wasn't so freaking huge.

I never paid any attention to it but they put that shitty bevel on the midcourt logo too.

The gigantic South Carolina is significantly worse looking than the logo. It would look much cleaner with just the logo. As is, it's just a cluttered mess.

Texas and Texas Tech both have the state at mid court as well
