As in i'll be very surprised if any of these kids actually commit to us this weekend or on signing day from the bunch we're recruiting this weekend. I'm glad the kids are interested enough to come visit but I doubt any of them play here. We'll fill this class from other kids most likely. God it would be nice to be wrong though, we could use some of the elite talent from this weekend sprinkled throughout the team.

This is my thought as well. I think we land LaFrance and possibly Bundage. Tyrie Cleveland would be icing on the cake but is probably a stretch.
The rest of those guys aren't happening in my opinion.

I'm torn. A week ago I would have said no but he's been making a lot more noise about Arkansas on twitter. I'm starting to lean towards a perfect weekend on the Hill could sway him.

A weekend with this much talent visting won't hurt. It should give all of these kids the sense that something is brewing.

any more news on cater. I think it's clear he's narrowed down at least somewhat since he isn't considering USCe anymore. who else was he considering besides us and them?

Realistically, how many more do we take? We're at 16 at the moment, low end is 18 supposedly - so 2 minimum to ??? I don't think we go much over 20... upper end 22.

I've been seeing we'll take up to 24. All the guys leaving for the NFL opened up a few spots, I think.

we really need a guy like bundage who is a hybrid safety/LB. it's guys like that make stopping these spread teams possible.

yea OU has offered like four players from Doucet's JUCO (Lackawanna in PA)... the same place Eluemunor went a few years ago

I think that was with more transfers than we've had. All of the needed attrition to be able to take 25 hasn't happened yet I don't think. I've lost exact count where we are, but I'm guessing we have 21 or so available at the moment? Anybody got the current count?
