Does the pretentious asshat that wrote that first one really use "thyself"?
As for the original question, its a fact that foreigners do not tip well because thats not what they're used to. Whether their skin is darker or not is up for debate.
My friends worked in a Lebanese restaurant though and they definitely do not tip well

As someone who has waited tables and bartended, it is absolutely true. Not 100% of the time, obviously, but probably 80-90% of the time the tips would be 10%, if that.

Never noticed this to be true when I waited tables. I think of all the people I was least happy about was college/high school kids coming in. They are the worst.

Albert Haynesworth was the worst tipper ever.
When I was bartending at Chesapeakes, he once left me $5 on a $200 tab. That motherfricker was making millions of dollars, ate all his food and half the steak of the tiny little white girl he was dating at the time.

More of a class thing than a race thing, but it's easier to say "race."
I almost always over-tip (regardless of whether the service was stellar or not). Partly because I'm just a nice bloke like that, and partly because I don't like doing the math to figure out precisely what 15% or 18% of my bill was I just say "frick it" and round up.

Of all the melanin enhanced stereotypes out there, this is one of the few that is nearly 100% fact. When I worked at a restaurant even the melanin enhanced waiters hated serving the tables with high melanin content. I'd like to hear some theories of why this is the case.
