We really should go by Total SEC endowment by state

Texas A&M System - 11.1 Billion
Tennessee - 5.2 Billion
Florida - 1.5 Billion
Missouri - 1.4 Billion
Alabama - 1.8 Billion
Kentucky - 1.1 Billion
Mississippi - 1 Billion
Georgia - 939 Million
Arkansas - 930 Million
LSU - 788 Million
South Carolina - 596 Million

Mississippi SEC schools in the billion club.

Arkansas' has shot up in recent years.

Why is Alabama listed as University of Alabama system? Found that odd.

Endowment aside, LSU is ranked 35th for public universities in mid-career salaries, ahead of schools like Ohio State and UNC

We offer great paying jobs in high demand fields at a great price, so future students focusing solely on endowment are short-sided in their choice.

I do know LSU is going to be starting a campaign in the near future to raise its endowment, so hopefully we make our way into the billion mark soon

3 Reasons A&M is so high:

1. Oil money

2. They have huge enrollment figures across the A&M system. See below: 138,000 students currently enrolled.

3. They are a cult. Like most cults, they brainwash their members into giving crazy amounts of their own assets to said cult.


I don't care how big their endowment is, it doesn't make them not a bunch of weirdos.
