I have this really sick feeling that had the roles been reversed, that statement would have been made the epicenter of the entire case.

You mean if it was a white football player and a black girl and the white dude said something like "300 years of slavery wasn't long enough for your people, bitch" after peeing on her and/or raping her?

Yeah, they'd probably need to shut down Vandy's football program if that ever happened.

That said, Clay Travis has no proof that the allegation is true.

I applaud him for not releasing this before the verdict was in so as to not prejudice the jury pool. It definitely had huge news value.

But the only reason he's posting this today is to cash in on the news value. It's what he gets paid to do. Just like I'm posting the OP so Chicken gets a few more clicks today.

As the father of a young girl, I find rape to be one of the most dehumanizing, despicable acts man has ever conceived of. Whether he pissed on her or said something awful really doesn't make it any worse or better to me. I would want to go Samuel L. Jackson on any sumbitch of any race who raped my daughter. A racial component adds fire to the story for the media and general public but if it was my daughter it wouldn't change a damn thing.

Unfortunately, past history teaches this truth. Horrible actions, regardless of color, but there is no denying the displays of vindictive, racial hatred in this crime. A lot of kids today, red, white, black or yellow need to stop and realize that the hate-mongering clouds they were raised under come to no good for anyone.

You’re 100% right. They should burn that m’f alive.

If BLACK people didn’t SELL BLACK people on the African market, slavery would’ve never happened. Teachers don’t teach that in school. Native Americans were raped, murdered and burned. Their land was taken away. Jews were slaughtered and persecuted. Women were treated as an inferior gender. American born Japanese people were put in concentration camps during WW2. I mean JFC, black people need to look in the mirror for there own short comings. Now white people have become the target for the liberal media and underprivileged races. It makes me sick.

without question. race is such a one way issue currently. African americans need to either raise their bar when it comes to "leadership" or begin to take responsibility for their actions as PEOPLE not as poor downtrodden ex slaves.

some of them anyway.

If a group of white guys had allegedly raped a black girl and had allegedly said something extremely racist while allegedly peeing on her, it would have been 24/7 news on every single network and newspaper for months.
