Maker wasn't even ranked as the No. 1 player in the 2016 class. He can't even touch Ben Simmons, as evidenced by their performances at the NBAPA Top 100 camp and the LeBron James Skills Academy. Ben was named the top prospect at both while Thon was getting owned by Chase Jeter and Stephen Zimmerman.

Oh, Simmons and Maker have the same Scout grade of 97
Relax, these rankings are not even finalized. Jaylen Brown and Newman could easily make a run for that #1 spot. Also, a bunch of kids were not graded/ranked so high due to being injured during AAU ball. LSU fans sure a tad touchy with Simmons (by the way, one hell of a player).
