Christians also believe in a living God aka Jesus. Point to a faith with that factor if you can
Pastafarianism. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is real. I have faith.

You've laid out well the conundrum of creation. It invites, of course, the question: Who created the creator? Like the "endless mirror effect" the answer alludes to infinity.
The answer alludes to an uncaused first cause, no matter if one is a theist or not. In other words, the supernatural is required for creation, theistic or non-theistic.

I look at it this way: the existence of God is so enormously irrational ... so thoroughly illogical ... that it must be true. So I believe.
Call it "God" or something else, the existence of a creator is very rational and logical.

This. Stephen Hawkings is a brilliant man. Maybe the most brilliant man of our time. But I can't understand how he can just come to the conclusion that everything came from a 'singularity' as he calls it and stop there. Well, where did this 'singularity' come from?
A singularity is a dead-end in physics. Hawking didn't say that everything came from a singularity. He, along with every other physicist studying the birth of the Universe, have had to use Einstein's equations to track back to the Big Bang.
Using General Relativity, you will always arrive at a singularity. This means that GR is not adequate to go to and beyond the Big Bang. Actually there was no bang, just inflation and it's the study of this that's helping scientists explore the very origins of time and space in our Universe.
BTW, I think the best physicist living today is Leonard Susskind, not Hawking.

An uncaused first cause? That's gibberish. Actually, nothing you said makes sense.
