Loved the Barker vs Zeier battles.
Yes I'm old. Dood used to chew his o-line like nobody's business.

Oh really? What's the bulldog nations opinion of him.
I remember him as a gutsy competitor with no defense to back him up.

He was awesome. A bright spot during a dark time.

He was frickin' awesome. Single handedly brought our offense into the modern world. Great competitor, great QB.

His actual career is co -owner of Team Doctors. The UGA thing is not his main income.

'92 was such a great season but could have been so much more... i think we were short of going undefeated by a combined 3 points that year and went on to crush tOSU in the Citrus Bowl.
Zeier + Hearst + Terrell Davis + Hastings + Mack Strong =
Our D was just not that good that year...as always, full of talent just didn't play to our potential.

Good Lord he has bounced around a lot. His most recent employment listed was at Taylor, Bean and Whitaker in 09. Between 07 and 09 he was a VP of BOA and CBO of national sales at Homebanc. Before that he was CEO of Team Doctors (07). He was executive level at 4 places in 2 years.
I assumed he was still with Team Doctors. My wife did their payroll when he was there and used to talk to him every other week on the phone. Asked me one day "Do you know of a guy named Eric Zeier that ever played for Georgia? I have been dealing with him a lot lately and I told him we were going to the UGA game on Saturday. He said he played for Georgia." I told her who he was and how good he was because she had no clue as she was a UT grad. Anyway, I asked her to ask him if he would personalize an autographed ball to our son if we mailed it to him. He told her just to come down to their (750) setup under the bridge 3 hours before KO when they were getting ready for the pre game show and he would sign a ball. He ended up getting us in the hospitality tent down there for the whole day.
This was 07. I had no idea he had been with 3 other companies between then and 09. And I know the last place (Taylor Bean Whitaker) listed as his employer was closed down in all the sub prime mortgage stuff around 2010. Who knows where he is now.
