No one has given a motive for Saban's actions with Lance.

Can someone give a reason here? He clearly is a great recruiter and a good LB coach. Why did Saban ask him to leave?

I know if given the choice of coaching LB's at Bama or AU, I'd pick AU every time..............

He is not a good LB coach. He is at best a mediocre LB coach. He is an elite recruiter.

The issues at LB in the past 2 years would be the probable reason he was asked to find something else.

They don't need a logical reason. They just listen to other Bama fans and then all agree that they are right.

If they did it would just be the OSU loss was all his fault or he was why their CBs sucked.
