All they said in their press conference was they aimed for for it to be business as usual. Sure, some things will be different but the o isn't schotty's or bobo's. It's richt's. He has always been willing to try new stuff, but schotty won't be asked to reinvent the wheel. If he was, we wouldn't have retained the same o coaches.

I'm not saying we'll reinvent the wheel. But I do think that Schottenheimer will add some new looks, new plays, new ways to attack a defensive scheme. He'll probably want to change the blocking assignments to some extent. It'll still be similar in many respects, but for those of who have been watching the last 14 years, my guess is there will be recognizeable changes.

That's my guess anyway. If CMR intended to do everything the same, I think he would have hired a more malleable candidate to teach his system, like the guy from Stanford. Schottenheimer will use CMR's system but is more likely to suggest meaningful changes.
