LSU had a prolific offense just last year. An offense that had 5 players that started as rookies, and 3 that are looking like future stars. Yet, LSU lost 3 games because of the defense. There's a reason the saying isn't "Offense wins championships."

You want further proof, just look a the Seahawks. They are a great defense with an average offense and they are running over all of these great offensive teams every week.

What about the Packers in 2010? Or the Colts the year they won the Super Bowl? Or any of the Patriots' super bowl teams? Incredible offenses, ok defenses
