If A&M or Arkansas had been without a DC for over 2 weeks after a bowl loss AND the high profile DCs discussed as candidates such as Orgeron, Shoops, Pendergast, etc... etc.. etc... had not taken the DC job... I am sure LSU fans would stay above the fray and not start any threads about high profile DCs not wanting to go to A&M or Arkansas.

It is widely accepted among insiders that we haven't offered anyone yet.
Not sure why, though. I wish we made a hard run at Shoop or Pendergast, but we didn't after initial interviews. They are saying Les is keeping this one close to the vest and has candidates people aren't aware of.
Who knows though.
What we do know is you guys are annoyingly obsessed with us. Its getting weird.
