Mizzou is the 38th youngest team in the country. Between having two favorite teams SLU(16th) and mizzou(38th) being so young and so frustrating makes this season hell.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT more times than not, it pays off in the future.

Not to derail the thread but I'd like to see Mizzou play SLU and SMSU every year alternating home and home. I think it would be an RPI booster.

I'd like to see that too. Frick the egos. If we can go to Arkansas State and Toledo to play football, we can go to SLU to play hoops.
As for the youth, I'm curious what the numbers would be like if broken down by minutes played too. Or is that how they calculated that. Because, really, Shamburger is the only upper classman with significant PT.
Bello hardly play.
Rosburg hardly plays.
Post hardly plays.

For me I love that they don't play each other, I want them to never cross paths. It really allows me to have a true 50/50 with them.

There is nothing to gain from beating those schools and everything to lose. The opposite is true for them. I say no thanks.

Is that still the case?

Any coach at Mizzou who has to hang their hat on beating SMS should be fired. Almost immediately.

Can we please worry about beating UMKC before we start talking about beating SMS.
I kid. I kid. For those that take it serious.

This year? No. But 8 or 9 out of 10 years Mizzou will be a better team than either of those

SLU ain't fairing much better than us this year.

Interesting. They'd had a pretty good run of years it seemed like. I obviously don't follow them at all but I figured it'd be the same this year.

Naw. The influence of Majerus is now gone from SLU. They are playing young too but I don't see Crews getting them to the level Majerus got them.

SLU and Mizzou are looking at the same game plan. Both are strugggggggling this year, but both could be looking at the dance the next 3 years (excluding anyone going pro i.e. Yarbrough*maybe Tatum*, MGC, jW3, or Gant.) Missouri basketball has a promising future y'all!

I'm not confident we keep all these kids since they are not all Kim's recruits. Some may leave which is not always a bad thing. I would be surprised if Gant is here four years.
