What kind of QB is that? A mobile QB?

Honestly, part of the interview process needs to include consulting our position coaches to see if they are willing to work under the new guy. Pruitt was a great hire but I don't want to see our offensive position coaches all leave.

Damn, if we get him and Harbaugh keeps poaching guys they're gonna only have Shaw left

Please, I'd love the combination of him at OC/OL and Chris Weinke as QB coach.

Maybe Bloomgren for OC/OL & Helton for QB's?
Someone on another site thought that maybe we could...
ETA: or plug in Weinke's name for Helton in above quote....

use the Running Game Coordinator/Passing Game Coordinator setup with Bloomgren and Helton that we've used with CMB and CWF the past 2 years. CMB was the OC, but CWF had a huge hand in the rushing part of the game plan and probably helped with play calling there, too. Apparently Bloomgren was in that kind of setup at Stanford.

If Helton truly is an up and coming OC, getting him to drop back to QB coach may be a hard sell.

If Helton is OC, you can take it to the bank that Neil Callaway will be the OL coach.

Of course it's only rumors & speculation on my part...
