I am calling you out for saying stupid shite. I said we (TAMU) have been in the SEC for 2 years, nothing about me being in LC.

Go back to your post and read your higher learning post where it says you've been following for 3 years and I'm the 1st douche you've encountered here when the first one was in your trash after you took it from your bleeding pussy.

Perfect example of how this board turns to shite so quickly. This was a good thread with meaningful comments from both sides. And then you chimed in.

I hate to see the Chief leave, I wish him all the best except for once per yr. I think he enjoyed his time at lsu and I hope he didn't leave with a sour taste in his mouth like his leaving at Tenn. Their is always two sides to every story - I wonder what changed for him? was it just the money?

Would you look at this shite... LSU/A&M starting to have bad blood. It's been said that this is no rivalry, but it's starting to look like it will heat up quickly if Ags can pull off a win anytime soon.

You got a good DC that

Just don't get into third and long situations...and be careful at the end of halves/games....haha

Seriously, he's solid...but I think most LSU fans are not that upset. I like how the OP worded it....PICKED A&M. Truth is that LSU wouldn't match offer.....I'm thinking LSU is looking to upgrade and internally they know something that most don't know here yet.......if pendegrass and O came to LSU....would be homerun of epic proportions.....

Pendergast is a stud.

That would be a good hire.

Sumlin's status is kind of up in the air

Dude Sumlin's status is definitely not up in the air. If you haven't noticed the Texas A&M administration is all in with building a top football program spending a half of a billion dollars on just the stadium. Sumlin now has the largest stadium in the SEC, nicest stadium in the SEC, the nicest locker rooms in the country, the nicest training rooms in the SEC, and a world class weight room with a world class nutrition center. It also appears that Sumlin will have the highest paid assistant coaches in the SEC soon if not already and can literally hire anyone that he wants.

You don't have to have the national championship history to get their in today's market....see Oregon. You have to have the money, the willingness to use it wisely, and the foresight to make 100 years decisions like leaving the BDF for the SEC.

Texas A&M is going to give Sumlin everything he wants for at least 3 more years. That will be enough to be better than maybe all but the top 8 programs in the country.

Enjoy 3rd and Chavis with your average defensive talent.

Did you even watch LSU's defense the last few years, let alone this year? We've been in a tail slide in the conference since 2011 and his defense played a big a role as anything.

This year we either got skull drug up and down the field for most of the season Miss St, down 38-0 at the HALF! to Auburn) and the most of the big games we were in we either lost or were one catch from losing due to his demonstrated inability to stop the two minute drill.

Enjoy!

He was top 15 in the country in third and long situations and had the top defense in the SEC. But don't let actual facts get in the way of putting your head in the sand.

the top defense in the SEC

That vaunted top defense in the SEC gave up 38 points in the first half to a 4-4 Auburn team & 31 points by the third to Miss st. We couldn't stop the Wisconsin run game for our life until their star RB got hurt, Couldn't stop a winless Ark team enough to win, Let Florida drive down the field with only minutes to go, only to drop a wide open pass in the endzone. And let Bama drive all the way down the field from the 6 yard line a yet again with about a minute to go, just like they did in 2012, and just like happened in many more big games.

And did you even watch the Notre Dame game? We gave up 28 to a godawful Domer team with a backup QB.

Take comfort in your meaningless stats all you want. I'll focus on what actually happened in the games themselves that I watched every single minute of, again on replay, and why we're 4-4 in the conference and losers in the joke of a Music City Bowl.

Chavis has had the most remarkable run of NFL talent in a decade, and all LSU has to show for it is a single conference championship in all the years he's been here and all the players we put in the NFL and his d has actually flopped and given up more games than not.

You'll never have that level of talent at College Station and you'll find out all about 3rd and Chavis with average SEC talent.

The Tennessee fans tried to warn us, and we didn't listen to them either...

This is the first post I have read in weeks on this site.

You stupid frick. You put up 0 points on Arkansas. If Chavis had held them to 3, you still lose.

You really are an Aggie aren't you? The game's that simplistic to you?

Now justify giving up 38 points in the first half to a 4-4 Auburn team...Yeah, that's what that number one defense in the SEC did...
