Sumlin's status is kind of up in the air

Dude Sumlin's status is definitely not up in the air. If you haven't noticed the Texas A&M administration is all in with building a top football program spending a half of a billion dollars on just the stadium. Sumlin now has the largest stadium in the SEC, nicest stadium in the SEC, the nicest locker rooms in the country, the nicest training rooms in the SEC, and a world class weight room with a world class nutrition center. It also appears that Sumlin will have the highest paid assistant coaches in the SEC soon if not already and can literally hire anyone that he wants.

You don't have to have the national championship history to get their in today's market....see Oregon. You have to have the money, the willingness to use it wisely, and the foresight to make 100 years decisions like leaving the BDF for the SEC.

Texas A&M is going to give Sumlin everything he wants for at least 3 more years. That will be enough to be better than maybe all but the top 8 programs in the country.
It taught me that the day that Alabama and A&M lost to the two Mississippi schools on the same day is one of those once in a millennium type events. :spank:
I guarantee you that we are not overrated!!!!

How comes you so mad?

re: TCU fans chanting.....SEC SEC SEC

Actually that is pretty funny!

Good for TCU fans!
Funny most Aggies don't even know who Mercer is and surely don't "thank god every day that their not a mercer rabbit" or whatever your mascot is!

Do we need to pay rent for the space that we occupy rent free in your brain?

You Aggies might be the most elitist group In the SEC.

Nah, we you meet us you find out that we are the friendliest group except with LSU fans. They throw their poop at people!
quote:

Saturday, you will lose...also a stat.

It would be a stat ONLY IF it happens. It hasn't happened yet now has it?

Says Nostradomarse! LOL!
quote:

So you're team is just bad. Dawgs by 10+

We bad!
quote:

Either that or regardless of stats, A&m still almost lost to Arky.

We won. That is a stat!

What makes you so confident? Honestly

We have one of the two best offensive lines in the SEC with lots of quality depth (more first round draft choices). We have the best group of receivers in the SEC by far. We have two 5 star and two four star running back that can block well and catch passes. NFL talent tight end. A sophomore quarterback that leads the SEC in touchdowns and yardage.

We are loaded on offense with more talent coming in with the right scheme and the right coaches. The only time we slowed down last year was at the point in the season that Johnny got the shoulder injury against Auburn. We almost won anyway.

Arkansas did.

Obviously you did not watch the game. A&M slowed A&M down not Arkansas. Dropped ball inside the 10 that resulted in no points. Receiver fell down on a sure touchdown at the 30 untouched that resulted in no points. Another dropped ball at the 20.

If A&M makes those plays they win by three touchdowns. Point is that Arky did not cause those drops and falls. They weren't even close to the play.

So your attitude towards stats being the tell all is laughable.

UGA has better offensive stats than USC who have better stats than Mizzou.

I didn't say that stats makes Texas A&M's offense better than MSU's offense. I simply stated that Texas A&M's offense is better the MSU's offense and that it is not debatable.

Reading comprehension issues?
quote:

look at you all buttburt. State has a more rounded team. Just the facts bruh.

As in fat?

MSU is not going to stop the Texas A&M offense and probably won't even slow them down. If that is a rounded team then cool.

All that remains to be seen is if the Texas A&M defense can slow down the Dillon Day less MSU offense or get some turn overs.

If the game were at Kyle Field MSU is a 7 to 10 point dog.
And so what?

Texas A&M clearly has a better offense than Mississippi State. It is not debatable. Move along.
Obviously there is a lot of friendly trash talk her on the rant as is expected.

I find it funny that people continue to describe false illusions of a fan base and then attack the false illusions.

90% of the Aggie faithful have figured this is a rebuilding year for the Aggies with Manziel heading to Brown town. I would think that most Aggie fans based on history are pleasantly surprised that we are 5-0 at this point and surprised that we stomped down on the Gamecocks. Everyone knew that Arkansas is much improved and that the Arky game would be tough. Aggies have a history of dropping a tough game early in the year.

We have 7 games left. I figure that most Aggies feel that if we go 5-2 for the rest of the season that we are ahead of schedule having the youngest team in the SEC using starters as the metric.

Personally I think we should beat MSU, Ole Miss, UL Monroe, Missouri, and LSU but any of those teams except UL Monroe could beat us. I think we lose to Alabama and Auburn but realize that we have the ability to win these games if we play well from start to finish.

By the way, I don't think I have seen any Aggie post that we have the richest fan base which has been used as a dig at Aggies being snobs. Not true if you met many Aggies. I have seen it posted that Texas A&M has the largest endowment in the SEC. That makes A&M rich not alumni.

If we lose 4 of the remaining 7 it will be disappointing but with the high level of recruiting in College Station most Aggies think the future is bright.

My opinion!
quote:

MSU fans should not have a ton to worry about. They need to play well but they are the better team and should win.

I don't think MSU has anywhere near the recruits that Texas A&M has. Recruiting analyst do not agree with you neither do the team stats.

Why exactly would you say that MSU is the better team? Because they beat the Swamp Kitties?

Texas A&M definitely has a better offense with better athletes with better stats. Defense now maybe we can quibble but again the Aggie defense has better stats.

I think if Michigan comes calling

Try rethinking!

Going to College Station ain't exactly a treat either... place sucks.

Not really! Awesome school! Awesome campus! Awesome facilities! Awesome town! Great airport, roads and highways for easy access. An hour from Houston, hour and half from Austin, two hours from Dallas, three hours to San Antonio.

Besides the fact that we aren't in Starkville, Mississippi!
